mpc 2500!! wont load up!

i have tried formatting the card into MS DOS format..
i hold down WINDOW on start up, and it says WRONG CARD!
shit!

Make sure the card is empty, except the OS file

Try a different card, preferably 2GB or smaller. If it's 2GB or smaller, you're able to format it to FAT16 rather than FAT32 which seems to work better

ok .. so anything under 2 gb is sweet? any brand i should get?

Yep, 2GB or less. I had success with a Transcend 133x card
