Keyboard

I have an AkaiMPK49 USB/MIDI Performance keyboard that I only used with my computer and FL Studio.
Now that I have an Akai MPC2500, my question is can I connect that keyboard with the MPC or do I need a different kind of keyboard? If I can still use the MPK49, how do I connect it to my MPC without having it connect to my computer. If I need a regular keyboard, which one would be the best one for the MPC without breaking my bank? Thanks in advance.

You just need to buy a MIDI cable and plug it into the OUT of your keyboard and the MIDI IN of the mpc.

I have it connected, I just need to learn how to set the mpc to get midi notes instead of drum's. Thanks
