Agreed, it's not like these are going to sell by the lorry load - I'd be surprised if they sell more than a few hundred of these, period.

True. My screen is 100% clean but that will change sooner or later. I would pay around $250 for a screen right now. If it came guaranteed perhaps I would pay more.

And a virtual screen, I guess from the dev software they are using to code a conversion process from the MPC screen protocol to a more standard screen protocol, to allow off the shelf Chinese OLED screens to be used...

I wouldn't count on it. Isn't the business partner is the same guy that likes to wash mpc motherboards in the sink with soap and water? =/

I dunno about that, but i washed the entire MV in the bath tub with soap and water

with distilled methyl and then distilled water....

basically what happened was someone back in like '07 who was over at the spot accidentally poured a beer on the damn thing.. or knocked one over on it... i didn't see it happen. anyways i had to completely tear it apart and bathe the entire machine. after all that i did the distilled water rinse after scrubbing the entire thing down with a toothbrush with methyl... and i let it dry for a week or so before re-assembling it.

Phew, that's good then. See, I knew you were better than just taking a shower with your gear man!

I'm pretty sure I saw the other guy's instagram before and saw something about him washing a MPC (don't remember which) motherboard in the sink. And was thinking christ, I hope he didn't just use tap water and did everything safely. Especially for the $ he is charging for his refurbished machines.

i never would've expected to see this already.

He also posted an update for the 3000 as well as the VGA expansion for the 3000.

well if this is actually a new development then that is good news.

I hope we get more info soon.
