Losing my Mind with my MPC

OKay so yesterday I got cracking on making a beat. I saved it after the first 10 minutes. when I nearly finished, I was in song mode trying to insert a few more sequences while the track was playing. it crashed and I lost it all apart from the beginning. Yes its my fault for not saving it but mistakes happen.

So now, If i open a existing project, play through that for a sequence or so, then open a new project, the MPC crashes (every time) and I have to close and start again.

I installed the latest update but it makes F all difference. Got me so annoyed i didn't even feel like making a beat after that

is anyone else having these problems?

Were the projects made with 1.8.1 and are now crashing using 1.8.2? Do they all feature any particular third party plugins? Which platform are you using (e.g. Mac 10.10 etc)?

Yes they were made on 1.8.1 but the crashing was happening before i installed 1.8.2. 1 does have a 3rd party plugin which has always worked fine. to be sure I opened another project with just the MPC library sounds and that crashes too. Im on a windows laptop 32bit
