checking new MPC 2500

Hey,

for a few days my first MPC 2500 arrived. I am not very familiar to hardware so maybe this an easy answered question. The seller gave me a kind of guarantee for 1 week for checking if my MPC is allright.

So is it possible to check the outputs 1-8 without having a mixer? At the moment I use the stereo outs.

sure, just plug your cables from the stereo outs into any of the individual outputs 1-8 and switch the output of your pad in the mixer screen from st to the individual outs 1-8.

that should be enough to check if there is a signal on every output.

don´t forget to check the headphone jack and maybe visually check the cf-card slot for bent pins before pushing in a card.
