in my
opinion its better to use a virtual midi cable and have Minihost Modular running in its standalone version with just cthulhu loaded sending midi to ren, while the ren just runs omnisphere - the benefit being that using a virtual midi cable you will actually record the chords into the mpc sequence, instead of the pads you hit to trigger those chords.
Using minihost as a vst is ultimately easier, but i remember having it act buggy, and i never ran anything as heavy as omnisphere within it either. i'm just guessing but i think cthulhu + omnisphere within minihost will be rough - probably better to run omnisphere on a standard mpc plugin track and actually get the correct midi chords routed straight in from cthulhu running externally.
So I reckon run minihost as its standalone app version and load Cthulhu, then you select a virtual midi cable as minihosts output, and the same virtual cable as a midi input within the ren software. Then you just make a plugin track and run omnisphere into that.
I think if you select minihosts midi input as mpc public, you will be able to control it by switching into the mpc's midi mode by holding shift and other. I remember that I had to use an external controller for this, but i guess that was before the midi mode implementation? anyway midi mode lets me send midi note to other DAWs so I don't see why this won't work.,
