So.. i was down with fine tune trimming samples on the classic using the jog wheel..

How the **** do i select the hypothetical 4 in the 246780 on the xl like if you were using the outer jog wheel on the classic???

got the manual here and have searched the tinterwebs but still have no idea..

So.. yeah.. help a brother out? :-D

The only way I know how to is to use the number keys unfortunately.

yeah it doesn't have a quick way to switch what numeral you're on... however what the XL does have instead is shift+note variation slider... that is to get to the ball park region... then from there the XL has a sort of jog wheel acceleration type of thing that the classic doesn't have... so when you keep spinning it starts to shift numerals automatically.

Hold down [SHIFT] and use the < > cursor buttons.
This does the same job as the outer ring on the classic.
I (in a minority of one) actually prefer this but I can see using the ring is very quick.

+1
The jogwheel acceleration was a stroke of genius on someones part.
It's actually a very underrated machine, living in the shadow of the two OG MPCs.
