Right I am completely blagged here...

I currently am running a nord lead through my MPC to sequence 4 synth parts.. cool , this all works amazingly well..

However the only problem I have is that when using live is when I switch parts on the NORD to control the filter for an individual part, the desired knob defaults to where it was last used on the synth.

for example if I have a bass part playing on track 1, then switch to track 2 to alter the cutoff on a pad, when i switch back to track 1 to alter the bass cutoff it doesn't come automatically go back to the frequency it was at on track 1 where i left it, if you gets me?

I do however own an old BCR2000 which I bought as a cheap alternative to a PG-800 when I was using an old JX-8P...

I believe this should be able to control any desired part on the NORD for each channel?

Anyone have any experience using a similar setup? As I am stumped how to get this to work...

Current chain which isn't working is

KEYBOARD MIDI OUT -> MPC MIDI IN - > MPC MIDI MIDI OUT -> BEHRINGER MIDI IN -> BEHRINGER MIDI OUT -> NORD MIDI IN...

Just need an "am I being retarded" sense check on my midi chain, as i'm pretty sure this should work...

Cheers

I have a BCR and the MPC4000. I recall that the BCR has different ways to run midi through it. There were four different ways I think. So make sure you have it routed the right way.
Also I think you routing is correct but on my 4000 I have the BCR going to the midi in of my MPC 4000 and in the 4000 I have the CC controls configured to what the synth. However your way should be fine because it sounds like you want to be able to only control the nord with the BCR.
Peace
