1.8.x bug reports (1.8.0, 1.8.1 & 1.8.2)

Am running latest update and quite a few times have noticed my Qlinks don't always work the first time go onto a page. When I go in to anything where Qlinks are auto mapped sometimes turning the knob doesn't alter any values. If I move the slider in the software with my mouse the qlino then stars working. Had it in prog mixer and tonight trying to adjust pitch on a sample a few other times too in different pages. Running on Win 7 64bit. 8 gb ram.

1.8.2 is not starting up anymore. It hangs when the software is loading up. I have to 'Force Quit' everytime. 1.8.2 was loading ok for the first few weeks of its release. Now, I went back to 1.8.1 and so far it is loading again. Buzz kill. Wipe my a$$ with this thing.
Brand new MACBOOK PRO no plugins loaded except AIR Hybrid. I'm going back to a Windows computer.

Good thing I kept my MPC1000 jjos 128xlcd.

Made 3 beats today on 1.8.1 such a relief. Tequila helped calm my nerves.
Much better than running 1.8.2
Still on my Macbook Pro.

This happened to me again, now the relaunching the software, or turning Ren off and on again won't help. Have not yet tried booting the computer. No matter what project I open, it acts the same. For example Winamp works fine tho.

Yooo, I'm speachless here. Just did a fresh install, but the problem still exists. It does not matter if I use 32 or 64 bit version. Uninstalling the software does not make it lose its preferences, and I didn't use CCleaner or anything like that (and I really wouldn't want to either) to clean the regiser. Also I wasn't able to locate any file that could've be deleted to do so. Seems like the software is stuck in weird mono state, or I'm not noticing some little stupid thing.

Ren + Yosemite = go back to MPC1000jjos or windows.
I actually pulled out my old Windows laptop and hooked the Ren up.
Put the macbookPro to other use.

Automation has a bug.
If you record automation and later change the outputs of any of your sounds within the project then all automation (on those changed channels) is lost. Found this out the hard way.
So, the work around at the moment is to set your outputs up the way you want them BEFORE you make any automation changes.

My MPC Ren. keeps crashing when I'm trying to use the Motu Machfive 3. I've never had this problem before when I was using my Machfive 3. I'm running my mpc on my iMac OSx yosemite.

Seems Ren can't remember the settings of UAD plugins if they're AU in your project...gotta go for VST.

HA! GOT IT! If you go to SAMPLE REC mode and set it to resample and select just L or R, it'll affect the whole software. And the software will remember the setting forever. I was going insane here...

My Ren crashes when opening up any recent project like it's very frustrating after making a banger and not being able to access it. I'm running 1.8.2

I've noticed that while playing the software, when the bar counter on the software reaches 100 it doesn't show correctly. It only shows two digits instead of three.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE address this issue!!!!!!

I realized when I try to record any drum & bass record into MPC Ren (for DJ use; I'd record the whole song), it distorts. I've tried out all relevant and non-relevant ways to connect it; I connect my SL-1200 to the RCA input, and even if I keep the gain really low, the audio I get ends up looking like a tube, so it's definitely clipping hard. I don't think there is any way to prevent this.
It's almost like the preamp cannot handle levels so loud.
It must be a "bug", for I'm 100% sure my turntables or needle/cartridge/cables aren't the culprit as I've tried it with another turntable, too, and when I connect my SL-1200 to a mixer or Serato, that does not happen.

I'm wondering if this could be fixed and if anyone else has encountered this?

I have since noticed that my Arturia V collection 4 was the culprit however since i own them they should work right Akai! Please fix this as these are my go to synths!

OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 & Mpc Studio 1.8.2 First time to install it's work somehow. Next time when launch the program, program freezes the point where mpc studio logo and the controller display shows progress. Sometimes appears on the display , computer stopped communicating.

I also cleaned the entire hard drive and install the all programs again. Still have the same problems will continue. Version 1.8 works somehow but even here there are problems , sometimes it freezes .

I also had the autoload file which was ready vst plugins , etc . Also I deleted it off I thought.

I asked whether the possibility of warranty returns posted seller_ > Thomann

They said that you could be in direct contact with akaille your problems , maybe they could help

I have previously put the Renaissance maintenance because of the problems, I got a new warranty. Yes I suspect that the problem was even then only in the software.

New Renaissance that I got the warranty. Broke the sound card plug place and then went back for repair.

Now in use, therefore, Akai MPC Studio model.

Akai did not know how to make software, or then the fault is with Apple.
