I'm running 2.0 with an internal 100MB zip.

edit: Just timed it, 1m45s. Seems excessive.

I'm new to the 2kxl so my history with this machine is limited. There is no disk inside when I boot up. When I got this machine it was on 1.14 and the floppy was busted. I believe it may have booted faster before I installed the Zip and installed 1.20. However, I am not 100% certain as I did that some 7 weeks ago just before I went out of town. Now I am home and looking to get stuck into the machine.

Perhaps I will live with it.

what scsi ID number did you set the zip drive to? it is maybe cycling through all the numbers before getting to yours.. is that possible?

I should go back to 1.14 since I'm not using a card reader.
