Converting from 2500 to the Ren

I just ordered a Ren today, and would like to get things ready...how do I get all the beats off of my 2500 and ready to load up in the Renaissance? I'm selling the 2500 on eBay, so I would like to restore it back to the factory settings. If this post should be in the 2500 forum, please let me know. Thanks in advance!!

Just transfer all your project folders to your computer via USB and load the PRJ files into the MPC Software - tweak and re-save as MPC Software projects (XPJ) - that's it. However I'd advise you hang on to the MPC2500 until you've performed the transfer and tweaks on the Ren as effects are not transferred, plus LFO, filters and envelope settings also tend to sound different, so you might want to keep flitting back and forth between the two machines.

As for restoring factory settings, a boot up holding down ERASE should do the trick. Alternatively just re-install the current OS.
