I just received my Ren yesterday, "upgrading" from the 2500 and just wanted to know if I should be using the 32 or 64 bit version. I'm running the software on a 64-bit Windows 7 and will be using Komplete. Also my Ren isn't responding and the 4 bottom pads are lit and the screen is blank...what do I need to do to fix this. Thanks in advance!

32 vs 64 bit:
Depends. Generally, if you have more than 4 GB of RAM you should use the 64 bit version to be able to address all of your RAM. Keep in mind though, that plug-ins in 32 bit architecture don't work in a 64 bit sequencer and vice versa; you'll need a tool like JBridge to use them then.

non responsive:
Have you tried updating your firmware? Are you running the latest software? And are you connected directly to the computer and not via a USB hub?

This JBridge tool, where can I find this because I am running 16 gigs of RAM. As for the USB, I'm about go check that out because I think I was using a hub...will report back shortly. When I first loaded the software, it worked fine but after attempting to update the firmware is when it became unresponsive and has yet to work again...I may be sending this back to Zzounds today if I don't have any luck...I'll report back.

Ahhhh got it!! My Digi 003 had to be disconnected from the CPU and then the firmware had to be downloaded 2x and all kind of lights started flashing on the REN. If anyone else has this problem disconnect EVERYTHING from the computer!!
