I finally caved in and got Komplete 10 Ultimate.

That Golden Kingdoms expansion is dope!

Will it work with the MPC though?

Yea the upgrade from 7 to 10 would be definitely noticeable. Are you going 25 key? 49? or 61?

I'd go for the 49 key. I haven't got enough room for anything bigger.

Just looked at this. How does the "crossgrade" work? I see it is only about $200. If I already Maschine, does that count as a crossgrade; i.e. can I get Komplete 10 for $200 instead of $500???

Yes. Login your NI account and you can do it from there. When did you buy maschine?

Got it a while back before 2.0 and the colors came out but my computer died and hadn't used it in ages. Eventually got a new computer and upgraded to 2.0; so I guess that will count as a cross-grade. Nice!

I lost count of how many hours it took to install but it went on and on and on... I finally got it finished (with a slight blip trying to get the S49 to work), but it's all working perfectly now. The keybed is super nice on this thing, even for playing drums. Well chuffed.

Nice. Did you install ultimate or regular komplete? I just got my k10 ultimate in the mail today.

How much is Komplete 10 Ultimate retail? $999? Because I'm not seeing the discount.

Do you own komplete, kontakt, machine, machine studio, or reaktor? If not then you can't get the summer of sales prices. Summer of sale is only for upgrades and cross grades.

If you want to save the most out of komplete and you don't own any of the mentioned products then get it during Black Friday. That's when it's on sale for people who don't own any NI products
