I have water damage in the big room of my flat (where my setup is). I put everything into storage until they fix it. Since i picked up the SE-1X this weekend, i couldn't resist and put together a small setup in the bedroom (out of the picture: SL1210 and a few records).... everything is connected through the MPC60. :)

This thing is seriously nice, probably the best piece of gear i ever bought. :smoker:

Hehe, probably being happy about more gear... The guy i picked it up from would probably say that... Fully treated professional recording studio with several rooms, SSL Xdesk, Toft 32 channel, pulteq EQs, PSI monitors, Telefunken comps, Distressors, 808, minimoog, etc... maaaaaan.... LOL!

Seriously tho, come and have a listen (at the risk of wanting to buy one afterwards, they are not joking when they say this is how Dre got his fat bass lines) when the flat is fixed... :smoker:

Stripped down last night for a few quick beatz before I re-do the studio.

Need to figure out a flow where papa doesn't have to leave the drum throne. Trying to figure out a way to keep my samplers/synths near so I can work from on everything from behind my drums more or less. 'Tis the dream.

Don't know what happened on the pic hosting, but I'll try it again.

Been gone from the site for a minute. But this is part of why I haven't been around, gathering up a bunch of new tools. Especially in the DJ'n and live sound department...ie Numark M4, Numark D2, JBL 18" subs to add to my sound arsenal. Plus I've bit the dust and grabbed a new Selmer Tenor Sax w/ a Berg Larsen metal mouthpiece. Yes, I'll be adding some real sax solo's to my tracks in the near future.

Hey, yeah that's my GSSL Compressor. First DIY build ever but it was quite easy. And it sounds just awesome! I would recommend everyone to build one.

Haha, yeah, if I smoke while listening to music I just hear so much "more". It's like a whole new listening experience... Not allways that good for producing but great for listening! :smoker:

Thanks! I made them myself together with my brother. I'm lucky because he worked as a carpenter and had access to a nice workshop. But it's not finished. I still need to sand it on some spots, glue it together and coat it.
I really like the wood. You can't see it on the pictures but it has some nice reflections when you look at it from different angles.

Do you have a link where you got it from (pic doesn't work at my work computer)? It's something i might do in the future, real SSL comp is expensive as hell! :)
