Question: I am a sample based producer and on the mpc studio and software I find myself filling all 16 pads with sample chops. I will make two or four sequences out of those 16 chops I made on lets say Bank A but I'm extremely confused as to how I can add drums(percussion) to the sequences I have just made without going to another Bank but if I go to another Bank lets say B, I can't hear the sequences I made on Bank A and I need that to hear those sequences so I can make a drum sequence(s) that make sense for the sequence with the samples on Bank A. Is there a way I can stay in Bank A where I made my sequences with samples, be able to hear them and get a fresh set of blank pads without undoing or removing those sequences that I need that have the sequences with the samples? Whats the easiest way to get around this hurdle as I like to MPC Studio and software but thats the biggest discouragement I have at this point of not going forward with the MPC is that it seems way more complicated than the maschine where I could switch groups and still here what I made on other groups and keep layering groups until I had the beat going where I wanted it to go. Does the mpc studio and its accompanying software have a something similar that I am overlooking as a newbie that can allow me to do what I am describing?
