Dp3 will not record any midi tracks from my 4000. I have all the proper settings in Dp3 and my 4000( I think). The my MPC 4000 midi tracks show up in the inut and outputs but they won"t record any midi tracks.
When I want the 4000 to "control" DP3 it will do that, so I know some midi information is going to Dp3, but I don't know if its coming back. OMS is controlling my midi chain beacuse I'm running Reasons 2.0. But, I think Free midi is running in the background.
This is very frustrating because I'm using Triology soft synth and I need to be able to record midi tracks and I need my MPc because I want it to sequence everything.
If I try to record midi tracks from the Triton into Dp3 no problem, but, as soon as I try to record from the 4000, nothing. What midi connections do I need to run from the 4000 into my interface and back to make sure its connected correctly?
Please help me.
