Hey guys I really need your help as this is really getting frustrating to deal with.....ive created lots of sequences...and after awhile of going in and out of the mpc when I load up a program it tells me ...wrong file...now this happened to me before and I just got fed up and reformatted my flash card...could it be that im using a 32gb compact flash card and that is to big or that its an after market compact flash....ive loss tons of beats before and now im feeling like this new batch will be lost and all my work is going down the drain ...pleas help !

This used to happen to me from time to time and its frustrating!

Whenever it came up saying 'wrong file', i transferred all the data from the cf to my pc, formatted the cf, and then transferred the data back on and it worked again.

Also I started to make sure I ejected the cf before turning the machine off, and re-insert only once the machine is already on. Haven't had a wrong file for a good while now!

No matter what happens to your CF card, you should be backing up your work on a regular basis, even daily. Then it doesn't matter if you CF card dies, you have backups of all your work stored elsewhere. I cannot believe how many people don't back up their work! Here's some backup strategies:
