hi,

i dont know how this is called. so i dont have a clue for which term i am looking for.

i would like use my mpc1000 with jjos xl to drive some synthesizer parameters.
so is it possible to hit pad a1 and the frequency jumps from e.g. 50 to 70, pad a2 controlls the attack value e.g. 10 to 60 and so on? (in short: different pads controll different parameter value on a synth)

thanks in advance for your help.

yes you can
What you are looking for is called pattern to pad.
But...... you have to read the manuals and also make them yourself.
You have to make the parameter in a pattern. then assign the pattern to a pad in OS3 and XL.
Then it will do a parameter change from a press of a pad.

go to a new blank sequence and blank track simply go to step edit screen then go data / pitch wheel data screen, go to top and choose filter if you want. then add midi CC or sys ex at start. You can also do longer than a bar, but its up to 200 patterns only. Make this the pattern. Assign the pattern to a pad. This then has a target track that has the midi channel set to the synth that you want to receive it.

now the pad will send that midi CC string you set.
