internal zip drive installation

I'm in the process of installing an internal Zip drive into my MPC, however when I went to purchase an IDE power cable and an IDE connector cable the guy looked at my like I was crazy. He insists that I can use the Cables from the floppy drive. I went on to explain that I'm inserting the zip inot a sampler not a computer and he still says the same thing ...then he says I don't sell either one ...has anyone else run ito this problem ?

THat guy obviously knows nothing about computers, let alone MPCs - even in a PC you use a different data cable and power cable plug for the floppy drive. Go to any computer store, and buy a standard IDE data cable and a standard computer power cable.
