I bought a Roland W-30 ( Music Workstation Keyboard ) . I also own a Mpc 2000 . I hooked my Roland W-30 to the mpc 2000 via midi . Is it possible to trigger a single sample on the mpc and trigger it in different note with the keyboard ?

Please help me , I looked everywhere.

Shalom,

Are you talking about pulling a sample from the MPC to play the different notes on the keyboard???

If so, just run 2 midi cords through your ins and outs on the MPC and your Keyboard then pull your sample through the MPC and set your MPC midi with the Keyboards midi channel and your all set from there.

Thanks ,
But I am only able to play the original sample . I can'T play different notes of the sample with the keyboard. Is there a way to set my mpc or my keyboard to trigger different notes ?

No, the MPC cannot play samples chromatically from a keyboard .... but your W30 can. So, stick samples you want to play with a keyboard on the keyboard & keep your MPC for beats & loops.
