roland xp-50 and mpc

my boy brought over his rolan xp-50 and we were just **** around with it ... im tryin to midi it up to my mpc... but i cant figure out how to make the midi in multi so that i can use more than 1 set of instruments.. does anybody know anything about this keyboard .. let me know.. thanx

I've never used an XP-50, but if it's multitimbral, it should be possible to make the different programs of a multi respond to their own midi channel.

But the option is probably hidden 5 levels down in some submenu...

I got that problem too with my roland w-30 , i really cant find out how to record different sets of instruemnt on my mpc.
