I'm recently switching from PC to mac and so far it's been going well accept I cannot get the mpc software to scan my rewire vst can anyone please help it's one of my most used plugins. Also I'm on a MacBook OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 I believe and mpc 1.8.2. Please any advice or help would be super appreciated.

I think the problem your having is because you're in 64 bit mode...click on the mpc app go to get info and check the open in 32 bit mode. Rewire vst is a 32 bit only plugin.

Thank you so much! I had kinda thought about that but then I assumed that everything on Mac was 64bit Cuz when you install it only gives you the option for vst or AU. Also that means I'll have to change reason to 32bit some how right? And will my other plugins work if it's 32bit. I'm sorry this is confusing to me because on windows I just ran everything at 64bit. Thanks again

Rewire VST is available in 32&64-bit. It`s working great on my mac.
"License include 32-bit and 64-bit VST Plugin versions for both Windows and Mac OS X"

For me Ren and Reason together is a very good combination.

Sorry for my english.

Your English was fine to me. The only problem I'm having is that when I purchased rewire vst probably 5 months ago the windows folder has 64 and 32bit but the Mac only has one vst which I now know after running the mpc in 32bit mode is 32bit but my reason is 64bit and I prefer to stay 64bit. Does anyone have the 64bit rewire installed on a Mac? And yes reason and the mpc are a great combination!! I loved it while I was using it on windows now just desperately trying to get my Mac working the same way. Thanks to anyone who can help me!!

I purchased rewire vst some weeks ago. There is a Mac folder with 32 & 64 bit vst-plugin.
I`m running mpc and reason in 64 bit.
I think you should contact the developer ask him for 64 bit Mac-version.

I bought it a couple years back, and yesterday I send them an email to ask for the 64bit version and they send me all the versions in one file yesterday, so you should send them an email
