Setting samples to play in Mono?

Hi there, I have made a beat over the weekend on my MPC Studio and was just wondering how I can play some of my sequences in Mono without having to change it using Master switch in the program edit window as when I do that, the program will either cut out my drums or samples. I just think it would be cool to make a sequence with my drums still there but my samples in mono so that the samples are cutting each other off but not the drums. Any help would be greatly used thanks

Put the samples that need to cut each other off in the same mute group. Or put them all in a separate mono play program.

Mpc-tutor is correct. I alway keep my samples and drums separated on different tracks.

Also... if you want your sample in mono (as opposed to stereo)... SAMPLE EDIT >> PROCESS. Scroll to right, you'll see a convert to mono option.
