Hey guys, new forumite, long time MPCite. Glad to find a place to chat about MPC with other heads!

So to get my forum career started, I'll ask: what plug ins are people using in MPC?

I'm using mostly the following:-

Instruments:

Kontakt
Massive
Absynth
Omnisphere
Corona
Zebra 2
Trillian

FX:

Waves
Fab Filter bundle (AWESOME)
TDL stuff
PSP Vintage Warmer 2

What about you guys? Which do you like best, and why?

Some plug-ins I definitely like and wouldn't want to miss:

iZotope Alloy + Trash
> All I need for general channel handling, distortion and amp simulation.

air Hybrid
> I am still amazed how versatile and fat in sound it is - for free!

Rob Papen Predator + SubBoomBass
> When Hybrid just isn't enough, although Hybrid mostly sounds better. But Predator has FX mode!

Waves Maxx
> I rarely use the Renaissance compressor, rather often the Renaissance EQ, but the rest is mostly too fiddly for me.

Rack Extensions
> Most mixing is done in Reason; REs include McDSP, Softube and Kuassa stuff.

Blue Cat
> Gain Suite used for M/S extraction from samples.
> Those mod FX rock!

maybe because I am lame, but the one I find I use the most that provides the absolute most is unfilteredaudio's sandman delay. for such a simple inexpensive vst it can lend me a unique perspective on a rhythm or melody- I dont have to use it in every track, but the feedback I get from it is like having a musically gifted friend working beside me offering advice or suggestion.

FabFilter is killing the game, That saturation plugin alone is one of my favorites right now.

Native Instruments Transient Master (although if you have Guitar Rig, there is a version of Transient master in there too FYI), as well as the entire Guitar Rig is dope and can be run as an effects processor from line in, provided you got a decent sound card for latency.

Waves Diamond Bundle, specifically RBass.

A lot of the mentioned plug-ins introduce latency and unfortunately the MPC software doesn´t feature latency compensation yet. So my favorite plug-ins when working on this platform are the ones which offer zero latency...
