Hi,

I have a MPC2500 with JJOSXL, and tried searching my question, but with no result.

Is it possible to add aftertouch/pressure data after I inputted some midi notes? With a qlink slider or knob. It doesn't need to be poly-aftertouch. Basically like a cc value.

Hope this is possible and I am overlooking something.

My master keyboard also sends aftertouch, but I have a synth that doesn't have much real time control unfortunately. But it does react on aftertouch. So I wanted to control the aftertouch like a standard cc parameter, instead of during playback.

cant you put the messages in manually in the sequencer, depending on your synth. there is two after touch messages to i think from memory one channel other not.

Yeah you can do it rather easily. Channel aftertouch is one value for all notes, so if you record some aftertouch and you want a fresh pass, erase the aftertouch data, then have a pad or a key in the program with a muted sample volume zero (or maybe no sample will work), then record and vary the pressure on this pad to record the aftertouch as you want it. You should be able to do this on a separate track just point it to the midi synth's channel but play around.

I use JJ OS 2XL but this works even on a 60.
