ASSIGNING SAMPLES

When I sample somthing I assign it to a pad before I do anything to it, after I timestretch it and get it the way I want it, how do I re-assign it to a pad? it says it is timestretched but when the origional pad is hit, it sounds the same as when i sampled it? I am also trying to alter and assign a certain zone of the sample onto a pad but instead all 16 zones are assigned across the pads over what I had been doing previouly?

Save it as a new sample, assign it to a different pad.

Zone will make 16 copies of that original sample. Again, assign the new samples to the pads you want?

When you timestretch, it makes the stretched version a new sample. So you have to assign the new sample.

When you use zone, it asks you if you want to make a new program. If yes, it makes a new program for you. If no, then you can assign the parts yourself to the program you already have.

How do I assign the new sample and the zone I want to a pad? In Edit or Program?
