Remixing Tracks

Dear Forum

I have been looking into the world or remixing!! Question how do people remix released records, do they get hold of un-mastered versions of the tracks so they can play with the various parts that make up the whole record. And if so how does someone make a start in this field and get hold of un-mastered tracks.

When I remix things. I take the acapella and put a beat under it. That's it.

ye download a program like cool edit pro. get a beat and put the acapella over it. it aint hard at all. hit me up if u need any extra info. ill help u out

i just call up jay-z, nas, jada, or whoever im remixing that day, have em fly in to my town, and i just have em rerecord the whole track over a new beat. i make em change things up too
