How do you create the tape stop effect?

How do you create a tape stop effect in the Ren?

Global automation of pitch?

This is possible with the 4K... I don't know about the Ren though.

Thanks for your quick response Coz, maybe if I use the Ren in plugin mode inside my Daw (Reaper) I could automate the global pitch, giving me the desired effect. I'll try that.

It doesn't work in my Daw outright because the Ren is using midi tracks instead of audio on the tracks in Reaper, so I had to use a pitch plugin (ReaPitch to be exact) and I automated the pitch and I also automated the master tracks's volume to fade out as the pitch is being pitched down. i would re sample or duplicate the sounds i want to tape stop to a new pad and apply realtime pitch bend to the qlink then record it into the sequence if you wanted to keep it all in the mpc

Idk about just the ren, I'm sure there are free ones out there, but imo the tapestop effect used in protools will do exactly what you are asking.
