Is it a way to stop an 808 from bleeding into your next sequence within song mode when your piecing together a song. For example within the hook I have my 808 hitting and rumbling right but when the next verse comes in again a piece of the 808 bleeds its way onto the first 2 bars then turns off and I can hear it when it does to its kind of annoying if I'm not trying to achieve that effect feel me. Any help would be much appreciated Family.

Just put an 808 note at the beggining of the next seq with velocity=0

Assign the respective 808 sample plus an empty pad to the same mute group . Now place an empty pad´s event at the beginning of the second sequence...

EDIT: TT_Lab beat me to it.

Okay family I just tried placing a ghost 808 note if you will at the begging of my next sequences and I'm still getting the same thing maybe its a software bug on my system Idk but its very frustrating to say the least .
To be more clear I'm getting an unusual pop in my audio when the 808 turns off but its still going on even with the velocity set to 0 onto my first 2 bars of my next sequence.

It's in mono by default I also tried note on but that didn't work either Idk but thanks for your help Fam. I know it's something minor I'm probably over looking

Make sure the pad that is muting the 808 doesn't have a sound assigned to it. And make sure both pads events are in the same program.

Here is working the way I told you. I've just checked.

MUTE TEST.xpa

In the link a file in version 1.8.2 with a double test.
It has two seqs and a song set.
If you run the first seq alone an let it loop you'll see it cuting the long sample.
If you go to song mode you'll see how it cuts jumping from sequence to sequence.
Cheers
