MPC 2000 STAND, any sugestions?

Here's the Ekho stand I got.
It's pretty sturdy and I quite like it.



It extends high enough to be over my keyboard



(Also, there's my state of the art passive mixer I made out of a vhs cassette box on top of my s3000) High tech huh
As you can see, it has this bit sticking out of it which would get in the way of a floppy drive, but it could be sawed off.



And it doesn't have that clamping system of the other ones



so I might drill a couple of holes in it and attach a bit of metal sheeting to it and screw it into the Mpc chassis...Like this.....



But it seems to to stay on there ok as it is , so I might not bother.
It can be adjusted to be smaller too.
So anyway, yeah it works for what I wanted it for, and it's better than the thing I made out of a office chair.

off topic, but what brand card reader is that?

It's a Gotek floppy emulator.
They're pretty cheep of ebay, it's ok for transferring sounds from the computer to the Mpc but not great for saving everything on as you can't do the 'continue to save on next (virtual) disk' thing with it.

Nice setup. Looks good with the new stand. I have a similar issue with the Onstage Stands Mix 400 blocking the floppy drive. But I have a 1/2" thick piece of wood underneath the MPC which raises it above the piece that gets in the way.
