Hey,
MPK2s (MPK249 and 261) have both 3-pin midi outs and USB midi out.
I want to use the 3-pin midi out to play a hardware desktop synth (eg Virus TI2 desktop), and the USB to play a VST eg Sylenth.
If I had them all plugged in together, how difficult would it be to switch the MPK between playing the hardware and the VST? Is there even a way to split the keyboard so one half play one and the other half plays the other?
Thanks
