What would my wire set up be from the MPC to the MIDI controller?
you just need one cable from the midi controller "midi out" to one of the two "midi in" ports on the mpc.
this has to be a five pin din midi cable - if your midi controller only has midi over usb then you need another device in between, as you cannot connect a usb-midi out to a regular midi in just so.
