Here is my problem...I recorded a 2 bar drum sequence in the MPC1000. It sounds great. I play the sequence on loop on the MPC1000 and then my band plays music over the top of the beat and we record a dozen songs this way. However, I don't want to use the MPC live when we play. I want to transfer the sequences as a sample to my sampler so I can use my sampler to play live. I know how to record the sequence as a sample and export it as a wav file to my sampler. BUT I can't get the timing right. I turn the loop function off so I will just get the sequence playing once. But it does not record as the exact length or starting point. I can't seem to record it as the 2 bar sequence as there is always space at the front and the end. I don't want to have to match the length up each time I do this. Is there a way that I can record the sequence exactly at it's proper length as a sample without having to edit it after? Thanks. Any advice appreciated. I am sure this must be somewhere in the manual but maybe I am just looking in the wrong places

what kind of sampler are you recording it onto? It sound more like an issue you could fix on your other sampler by changing the start and end times of the sample. or by changing the threshold record settings on the other sampler so that it records only when it reaches a certain decibel level and stop when it goes below that.
