mpc60 vs mpc2000xl in ease of use?

i used to use an ASR-X, but quickly switched to my mpc 2000xl cuz it was so easy to learn quick and navigate through. one machine that ive ALWAYS wanted is a fully upgraded mpc 60. my only concern is, will it be just as easy to learn on and navigate through, as the mpc 2000xl? what i love about the 2000xl is, i learn new things about it every time i use it, because its so easy to understand. whereas on the asr-x, i wouldnt be able to learn new things on it without going to the manual. is the mpc 60 like this too?

also, when editing sounds on the 60, does it show the actual waveform? or does it just use numbers?

The 60 is easier than the Xl IMO, but there is also less to learn as far as features go.

the 60 does not have waveform editing nor does it have a lot of sample time. Your 2000XL has 32 MB of Ram whereas the 60 is upgradeable to 1.5 MB that's roughly 5% of the sample time on the XL. The advantages to the 60 IMO are the ease of use as stated by Elmacaco and the sound. You don't have to go into very many sub-menus on it because everything is laid out on the keypad.
