Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hi people,i have an mpc 2000xl with a problem on the motherboard(i think),input-output sound is dead,and the scsi source says''NO SCSI DEVICE''....is it possible to repair..does anybody know?

what upgrades are on the mpc so far? did you try to change any of the hardware? whats in/on the mpc

also how do you have your sound set up? did you try your headphones jack for output?

i haven't got any upgrades!!!i tried with the phones too,but no results!!!
i gave it for repair,and now i wait...i hope we will make it!!!

i connect it with a cd driver!!!(What SCSI ID is it set to?) if i understood this question,i set it to scsi 0,and scsi 1...

yes man,the cd and the files are ok!!!
exept the scsi source the mpc has problem to input and output sound!!!

Did you recently install anything? Like 8-outs, ect? Because installing a ribbon cable backwards can cause that. If you did there is a guide on here how to fix that.


Edit:

Just read you didn't change anything hardware out. You'll either have to open it and look around, poke around with a multi-meter or take it to someone. It can be difficult for people to troubleshoot a system that isint in front of them.
