Hello guys. Im new on the forum. So my question may be dumb but i gotta ask it. I want to buy MPC Studio. I have a sound card Behringer UMC22. So my question is are they compatible and will i have latency of soem sort. I have heard that some users are having this problem with the latency mainly because of their soundcard. Can someone tell me if i will have the same problem with this setup: MPC Studio & UMC22. Thank you guys. :worthy: :worthy:

ooh ok. the computer meets the req for the mpc i have quad core cpu 2,83 and 4 gigs of ram so it should be a problem i run all other DAW fine with no latency

What os ? win 7 win 8.1 etc
Latency is pad strike(you hitting the pad) to sound output .. These things are determined by processing power/speed, driver for soundcard , os and load of the os(other things loaded other than mpc app) ,how much is going on within the mpc app(plugin loaded and how many things are going on at once) , the buffer setting for the soundcard in it's settings, and compatibilty of the soundcard with your hardware(some motherboards are shit some are good quality to do wit usb controllers etc and how it works with soundcards)... It's not a very simple question to answer.. It's very much you trying it out and seeing what medium you can accept as playable latency vs load of computer... If you have no compatability issues, then it comes down to buffer settings really.. you can reduce the latency but if you computer cant handle it it starts to crackle and pop, which means you have to increase the buffer size = more latency ...

I think the computer is going to handle it. Mainly because with the other DAW's i have no problem. And thats why i think there no problem. We will see. I hope that tommorow i will get my hand on the MPC Studio. Thank you guys for the help. :) :worthy: Bless
