installing jjos 2xl onto mpc 1000

i thought i typed in my password for the jjos 2xl , but my save button is not working. i'v been trying to put it in again but i cant get to the screen so i can reenter it . can someone help

You can try cleaning the tact swich to the button with DeOxit spray cleaner. If that don't work, you'll need to replace the tact switch. But it requires soldering.
