Question about Swing function

Hi,
I recently purchased a MPC 2500 and I am having trouble to manage the swing function. I juste can't set it up right.

I want to record it as I hit the pad but it just won't accept me to hit the clap this way...

It might be a dumb question, so please be tolerant, but what would be the best Swing set up for me watching this vid ?

That's not swing that's just quantize. To record it exactly how you hit the pad, turn timing OFF. To record it how you played it try increasing the quantize from 1/8 to 1/16 etc. Sounds like you're hitting that clap on a triplet so you probably want it set to 1/16(3)
