Hello nice ppl.
I have an mpc 2kxl that I'm trying to repair for a homie.
The bottom row have some weird pad issue and afaik is triggering other samples/pads aswel.
I thought the sensor sheet was the issue so I dropped 70$ to get it replaced but the issue still remains.
I'm wondering if its an issue within the board.
Would like to know if anyone had any ideas.
I'm going to check with a multimeter soon but I really wouldn't know where to start since the pads actually making contact, but just not doing as they're suppose to.
Appreciate the help.

I've noticed this happen randomly on several MPC2000s. I'm not sure how frequently it's happening on your XL. The first thing to check is the connection to the board. It could be improperly seated or the connector may be dirty. Try some contact cleaner inside the connector.

Great finally a reply.
I may have figured out what's wrong.
The connector is **** and I need to replace it.
Can't find any info for a replacement part though.

Are you playing around right now? I've seen you posting about this in 4 different threads.

It is more than clear that the pad sensor sheet and ribbon are all one piece, go on google and type mpc 2000 pad sensor. You'll find what you need.

I missed all the other threads. Been to busy in the Ren forum. I'm locking this one. Stop disrespecting everyone here. We don't wanna deal with your shit anymore.
