i play my records on an old technics turntable which is connected to my mixer. I can't figure out how to connect the turntable to my mpc. I know this question has been posted before, but i just can't seem to figure it out. Any knowledge? :worthy:

I used to run the outs of my turntable to to my MPC 1000 and use one of the screws in the back to ground it. I've argued about this with people because people said i couldnt have used it like that without running the turntable to a pre-amp first. It sounded loud and clear to me.

yeah, my ion ttusb has line out and usb. so I can send rca directly to my sp-606 or even my computer via usb with out a mixer.
a few mpc producers who come over see that, they tell me I cant get audio in like that, then I show them I can. (big eyes).

there are lots of ways to get audio into your sampler just make sure it's line level going in.

A Technics 1200. How come the Ren has a TT input with a grounding screw? Does that mean that any TT can go into the Ren? Idk. Any TT I had I ran straight into my sampler and grounded it to a screw on whatever machine it was on. The sound was always fine to me. I've varied over the years with turntables.
