Hey guys. I recently picked up the ren and I was loving it, the workflow was super fast but today upon trying to scan my vsts, I was left like wtf!? Every time I attempted to scan my plugs the program froze in both 64 and 32 bit, I've done some searching on the forum as well as the web in general and I haven't found anything to help as of yet, I'm running windows 7 64 bit. I started with version 1.8.2 with freezing, then 1.2 (the disk it came with) which worked, then 1.8.1, 1.8, 1.7.2, 1.7.1, & 1.7 all which froze, does anybody have a fix or some advice, this is driving me nuts.

I was testing the plugin with win 7 64-bit, it worked for a lot of things but far too unstable for proper use from what ive found. stick with stand alone till next update its hopefully fixed

If it was working before I would assume that you've added a new plugin to your system that is causing issues (the MPC should just bypass any corrupt ones, but maybe it isn't for some reason). Close the MPC app, remove any recent additions from your plugin folder(s) and rescan. If this doesn't fix it, try removing all plugins and rescan, then start adding them back in one at a time until you find the problematic one.

I have this exact same issue. The MPC only recognizes a handful of plug ins. I just don't have the time and patience to remove them one by one to get to the root of the issue so I'm happy to work with the limitations and hope a future update resolves this.

Hey guys, I got ahold of tech support & what it actually turned out to be is changing my display settings, the option where it allows you to change the size of your lettering , I had it on medium and when I changed it to "smaller" everything worked fine...weird bug right?

The display settings in Windows itself?

Yessir, beforehand when I clicked scan , the program would freeze, but after changing that settings in windows, it scanned just fine.
