What's the max sized compact flash card that can be used

Hi all,

As the subject line says, what's the max sized compact flash card you can use on the MPC5000? I currently have a 4GB which I use to save all my programs and projects on but I want to upscale it to 32GB if I can and ditch the 7200RPM HDD I have as it's annoyingly noisy. I tried going the SSD route but after a few failed attempts to get ide to sata converter cables off eBay I've just given up. I live in South Africa and our postal service sux so it's not even worth the effort, the post just never arrives.

Has anybody successfully used a 32GB or 64GB Compact Flash card on the 5000?

Alternatively, anybody figure out how to dampen the vibration from the HDD?

You can replace the internal HD with a Compact flash (or SD) adaptor to IDE.
Super cheap on eBay.
I did that in my old 1000, no more HD noise and more reliable.

My problem is posting stuff. It just doesn't arrive on my side, it always gets lost somewhere along the line so ordering off eBay is off.

Luckily I've just found a local store that has stock of the ide to sata converter! Whoop so I just go that route, I think it'll be way cheaper!
