Looks good also, can't wait to pick it up. I wonder if the goofed when they said early november for a release date.

I've seen various 'in stock' dates on different stores, earliest was 2nd November, then 16th November, and another stating 10th December. I'd take all of these with a pinch of salt

Yeah in the US it's ranging from the 17th to the 23rd. Im going to call Sweetwater and a local store in a little bit to see if there is any change.

One of the biggest European websites for music equipment (Thomann) says early December...

I gotta admit that I'm a little more excited than before and I definitely want to try out the MPC Touch. Still not 100% convinced though. Not sure whether the knobs and faders are of decent quality. Other than that, the touch screen seems to be nice, although we need to wait and see whether we can completely leave out knobs and faders for fine adjustment.

I don't care for the step sequencer though and I am not sure about that XYFX thing, not really my cup of tea, seems like a gimmick. But that's just me, probably. Also, I would never sell my Ren for this. As addition maybe, but spending that much cash just to play around? I don't know.

What also bothers me is that MIDI In/Out is limited to one. I got several hardware synths I would like to connect simultaneously. Or did I miss something?

But honestly, Pete and Geoff are hilarious, I love those guys. And in their own way they seem to be enthusiastic. Yeah, ok, they gotta be, but still...

Well I gotta admit that it looks like fun after watching the video. Good points were made about happy accidents and experimentation. I didn't notice the touch screen issues until they were mentioned here. Hopefully these issues will be improved. I'm still more partial to standalone hardware. But I'm still interested to see how things work out with everyone who decides to buy the Touch.

I forgot to ask... Any word on ReWire compatibility yet? It would be a welcome addition, especially if Audio Tracks won't be implemented,

It's very weird about the 1 midi in out, no usb hub, and volume knobs on the back. The touch screen just makes it so much faster to get to certain features. The touch screen also helps the MPC studio 1 row qlink issue but we will see if it can stand up to the Ren's 16.

Pete says they are working on the 1.9 video but not sure if they can complete it. Come on audio tracks and crossfade loop.

The GUI looks pretty nice when they show it full screen, so I wonder if they'll mirror it in certain ways with the MPC software.

If you make money off of MPC since the 2000xl and Fruity Loops 1 like me FOR A LIVING........I expect you to sound like this if you still HUNGRY. You sound comfy tL One. Like Pete. Like Numark. Unlike my ex-wife. Unlike my kids watching me wait on SOFTWARE.........1.9..........Anything else.............FB that way
