Hello MPC users!

A couple of days ago I bought a (used) Mpc 2500,
This was a huge dream so you can Imagine I was pretty happy.
But the problems came quick.

The first one was that it got stuck a lot of times. But after removing the ram upgrade and bringing it back to the original OS, This problem Disappeared. However, When I'm Working on a beat (actually still learning how this awesome device works), Suddenly the sound of the machine isn't audible anymore, /But when I turn the ouputs of my soundcard up very loud, I hear a very Distorted version of the sound at a very low level. Same stuff with the headphone output.

Even when I try to load in a new break or an other sample, and I hit play instead of pressing the pads, the same thing happens.

When I switch the MP off and on again, IT doens't happen anymore.

Has anyone encoutered this problem before or does anyone knows A possble Solution or cause of this problem. I'll be very happy to know!

please help me out, Nathan

Dang. Sounds a bit suspicious to me. Obviously that isn't normal behavior so if it does it again Id be contacting the seller for a refund.

Thanks for your answer!

I got a really good deal with the seller, I traded it for a couple of bucks and an equalizer that nobody wants. That's why I prefer to fix te problem myself. The mpc is usable for sure. But this problem is a bit annoying. Do you have any ideas om ehere the problem could be in?
