Sending CC# Messages via MPC 1000 & 5000

So I am doing a ton of reading trying to decide if I want to go with the MPC as my main hardware sequencer (I dont want to use a laptop on stage),

I read that you can send CC messages from the mpc and record them into a pattern as well via the Qlinks sliders and knobs I read about how to set that up.

My Question is this, can you PROGRAM a CC message into a patten via a step sequencer or anywhere else from within the MPC? I will be having various outboard FX units and synths that I want to send prog/patch changes, parameter chances etc. TO be able to simple turn an effect on or off as well. Can I do this? On beat one of track one program the MPC to send a Prog On message say to my Line 6 M5 pedal to turn on the effect?

I also ask for the MPC 1000 and 5000 cause I am still deciding. I want scale ability and room to grow and I like the 5000's more memory, bigger screen, additional Q link sliders and knobs, Built in VA synth...lol. I want to know if you can program CC messages is it limited to the 5000 only for example,

I say 1000/2500 with jjosxl handles it quite good. I won't diss 5000 as I ve never seen that on my own eyes.. but I saw people moaning here about bugs and begging for updates or jjos... for it

On other hand it took around 8 years and hundreds of updates to have jjosxl in current state.
