I do have a REN ,but I use it on my other computer with the AKAI software. The reason I went with the Launchpad pro is for the drum mapping. You can use the REN to do it , But there drum mapping is layed out across keyboard notes. It takes a minute to set it up on the REN.1 thing I can say about it is the sound engine is sweet, its versatile, and has serious upside.

Can't you solve that on the Ren by using transposition?
