LOL this is ridiculous at most!
So they felt the shit down on their pants with the push 2 release.
That demonstrates that they hold up on products for months to rise the hype on people. Bad bussiness decision in this age and era where everything is fast.
Back in the nineties that would work.
Here in Spain shit always came up to 1 year later htan anounced in US or britain etc. But nowadays everything use to flow fast in the market, so you don't get your butt kicked liked it's being happening to akai with ableton. Who would guess that it is not NI who is the one making akai tremble but their own old partners. LOL again.

Yeah, I agree with this. They are the tail, everyone else is the dog. They are getting bodied right now. Hope the Touch gets good reviews.

Joking HAHA Never got it actually but was SUPER close, had one on hold and everything. I liked ableton 9.5 the first hour and then it started to get annoying and the timing was not right to me plus a few other turn offs so i decided to stay with my Ren. What took me 1 min on the ren, took me 10 min on ableton, cant have that backward workflow. The analog synth has some good sounds so im gonna sample those eventually.

when u say the timing was off r u talking about the drum programming and swing?

I've noticed in jah's video that there is an extra step for going from for example sample edit to main window. With the touch it seem you have to go thru the menu window to switch.

Cool, I will watch the forum and vids for bugs, then perhaps next years when it got better I'll get it, For now, my Push 2 will arrive tomorrow.

I do find that it takes longer to get a "feel" on Ableton too, I always contributed it to my lack of spending any real time getting to know the Live software. It is great for more rigid programming (EDM, some Trap, etc.).

You can get Push2/Ableton to feel good, but it takes more fidgeting when you are a novice. Sometimes having multiple options (swing settings, quantize percentages, etc.) can add more time to your workflow.

Anyway I agree with the above post, Push2/Ableton can be quite tedious especially when working with samples. The MPC Ren and Maschine are more seamless for those who use samples as musical elements. Even though I still feel that there is something about the way the Ren glues everything together--Maschine lacks this.
