We plan to do something for our testers and people that have supported the project in its early stages. Not sure what some consider a long ago, but at this point its been a bit more than a month when we started the preorders. I know for someone waiting for a screen that could seem like forever, but being how long this project has been it almost seems short to us Thanks again for the praise.

We hope to have all the final versions shipping out very soon. Everyone can be up and running 100% again.

Yesterday, I bought the blue XL screen from MPCStuff. I can't wait to get it and try it out!

Anyone else currently testing happen to be experiencing any intermittent cutting out to a white fuzzy screen that goes back to normal after you press a button?
This is occurring on a 2000xl..

These displays are still being beta tested?

I got my MPCStuff blue screen yesterday and going to install it today in my XL... wife permitting.

I replaced the shitty stock screen with the blue screen and it looks AMAZING! No lag and very quick to navigate.

The hardest part was perfectly aligning the new screen in the holder before mounting it back onto the 2000XL.
It took a couple of tries but I got it spot on.

That and trying to get the ribbon cable inserted into the connector under the 8outs board. Not too difficult, just need patience.
I honestly think I have a defective one though, it randomly inverts to white, then goes back to blue after a few seconds. Must send back.

Contact Mike and let him know. He mentioned that he stands behind his products when I was talking to him specifically about these displays. So it shouldn't be a problem. Plus I'm sure he'd want to know what's going on to make sure these displays remain up to par.

I'm a bit worried about this, I want one except I think it's still a risky time of getting one and then ending up with a defective screen. Anyone else had issues?

Mine is going great! No problems here with the screen. Its so CLEAR!!!! And responds FAST!!!!!
@Dustyfinga1.0... get in touch with MPCStuff ASAP about your screen problems. It could be a defect and they will help you out with it.
BTW... did you check on the back of the screen to see if the 2 jumper wires for the inverted color where touching each other causing the color change?

Everything is okay after I did the ole' shift jog wheel contrast adjustment. It took a few tries to get it dialed in but then it just stayed blue. Right on.
My only complaint is that getting it lined up nice and straight is sorta a PITAss. I mean the one I received has the tendency to sag on the right side, so after adjusting it multiple times I finally got sick of dicking with it and put it back together completely just to have the right side sagging ever so slightly. Frigging annoying.

so... maybe a new thread without envision in the title... since it's now a new chapter of the story they aren't a part of (the chapter where the screens actually work)
