Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

I have the Ren, Studio, and MPC Touch. I really could have stopped at the Ren, but I have a problem. Anyway, I do like the display of the Touch, but here's my thing. I really look at my computer more than I do the actual hardware, so not much has changed for me.

It is funny that I spent years on previous units (MPC 2000, MPC 4000) always wishing I could see the MPC display on a full sized computer monitor. Then came the MPC Ren--finally we did not have to look at that little assed screen! Now we all want to look at the hardware again? What?! LOL! Very funny to me!

For me the screen is just to small and the menu has not been thought out well. and please get rid of some prompts when i can just use undo.
Features and suggestions feedback is up to a 182 pages on this forum alone for the Ren.
i hope they keep updating the Ren software i can see a Ren Touch in the future maybe.

Ren touch is so inevitable seems they are using the touch a ginnuepig presumably
but already both jah and dl peace have stated that the touch is good enuff to superseed the ren except for thos who need multiple connections.

but for mostly itb people the touch will suffice

Hellfire said otherwise.

yup but its two to one so far on opinions

ultimately though personal preference some peeps were never going to give it a fair shot due to it not being standalone

I agree!!! Yet another reason why the touch is no replacement for my Ren!

For real.

We wish for something and as soon as we have it we demonize it, revile it and yearn for the past.
Us humans are strange creatures.
:hmmm:
