I think they missed an opportunity to make some quick sales when the product was initially announced back in October 7th; but then Push2 came out and diverted the energy.
Also the fact that people are aware that other products are in the wings; add to the fact that alot of hardcore users dont like the new direction of the touch has meant alot of people sitting on their hands.
but yeah that price is too high I think they should drop it down to £350 but I think this upcoming Winter NAMM will be very interesting.
if the roland rumors are true Akai may end up getting guzumped again.
